Viridon has completed the acquisition of DATC Path 15 Transmission, LLC (“Path 15 Transco”) from Duke-American Transmission Company, LLC.
Path 15 Transco indirectly holds an economic interest in the 84-mile, 500kV Los Banos–Gates #3 transmission line (the “Path 15 Project”) located in California’s Central Valley. The Path 15 Project links Northern and Southern California and is a vital component of the state’s energy infrastructure. It was developed through a unique public-private partnership with the Western Area Power Administration, which owns and maintains the line.
This acquisition reflects Viridon’s ongoing commitment to supporting California’s energy needs by investing collaboratively in essential infrastructure.
